Vice President - Construction Management    

Ms. Kirkman is responsible for the Construction Management of 1.618 Interests projects.  With over 30 years of experience in owner’s representation and construction management, she has successfully monitored and reviewed projects as to budget and schedule; directed the activities of architects, engineers and contractors as well as updated the owner’s operations group of project progress.

She has been responsible for successfully preparing cost estimates, budgets, change order reports, reviewing construction drawings, administering change orders, approving contractor progress payments, maintaining and monitoring close-out punch lists and other historical project construction related data. She personally reviews, supervises and reports on the performance of general contractors regarding milestones and overall schedule quality of work, non-compliance work and monthly job cost status report.

Ms. Kirkman has been a leader on some of most significant development efforts in southeastern Michigan, including the Hines General Motors Global Headquarters team and The Taubman Company Great Lakes Crossing team.

She attended Michigan State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Master of Science in Construction Management.
